Privacy Policy

The short version

CreatorBill does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. All your invoices, rate cards, and profile information are saved exclusively in your browser's local storage. We have no servers, no databases, and no user accounts. Your data never leaves your device.

What data we store

CreatorBill uses your browser's localStorage to save:

  • Your creator profile (business name, email, address, logo)
  • Invoice drafts and their contents
  • Rate card items
  • Template preferences and currency settings

This data exists only on your device. If you clear your browser data, switch browsers, or use a different device, this data will not be available. We recommend exporting important invoices as PDFs.

What we don't collect

  • No personal information
  • No email addresses or phone numbers
  • No payment or financial information
  • No cookies for tracking
  • No IP addresses
  • No analytics or behavior tracking

Third-party services

CreatorBill uses the following third-party services:

  • Google Fonts — to load the Material Symbols icon font. Google may collect anonymized usage data per their privacy policy.
  • Vercel — hosts the website. Vercel may collect standard web server logs (IP addresses, page views) per their privacy policy.

PDF generation

When you download an invoice as a PDF, the generation happens entirely in your browser using the native print dialog. No invoice data is sent to any server during this process.

Data portability

Since all data is stored locally in your browser, you have full control over it. You can export invoices as PDFs and rate cards as CSV files at any time. To delete all data, clear your browser's localStorage for creatorbill.com.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how we handle data (for example, by adding user accounts or cloud sync in a future version), we will update this policy and notify users before any changes take effect.
